QuestionAnswer
Proportional having the same constant or ratio.
Corresponding Angels two nonadjacent angles made by the crossing of two lines by a third line
Corresponding sides Matching sides of two or more polygons
Equivalent ratios ratios that name the same comparison.
Indirect Measurement The technique of using similar figures and proportions to find a measure.
Proportion An equation that states that two ratios are equivalent
Rate A ratio that compares two quantities measured in different units
Scale The ratio between two sets of measurements
Scale Drawing A drawing that uses a scale to make an object smaller or larger than the real object
Scale Model a proportional model of a 3 dimensional object
Similar figures with the same shape but not necessarily the same size
