Equality The idea or the state of everyone legally having the same rights
Freedom having the liberty or power to determine the manner in which someone accesses their civil liberties
Voyage To travel a long distance, especially by water
Indentured Servant Someone who signs a contract that binds them to a determined period of work in return for travel expenses to the Americas
Mercantilism Economic policy under which trading nations generated wealth and power by exporting manufactured goods in exchange for gold; system where colonies use natural resources to make money for the mother country.
