What is "Seperation of Powers"? It is reffering to how the power is spread between all 3 branches and so no branch has to much power.

Why did the colonies want independence from England? England believed that the power rested in the king. The colonists believed that all men were created equal so they shouldn'nt be controlled by someone who didn't care about who they were.
Descricbe the "Great Compromise" The great compromise allowed both the Virginia and the New Jersey plan followers to combine into one. Thus, allowing both the large states and the small states to be in favor. This is still used today
