Who decides on an impeachment trial, and where does an impeachment trial take place? The house of representatives decide on an impeachment trial. It takes place in the senate.
How long is the term of office for these jobs? House of reps.- 2 years senate- 6 years president-4 years Supreme court Justices and federal judges for life.
What is a census, and what is it used for? The official counting of the population.
What are three qualifications for being in the senate? 30 years old u.s. citizen for 9i years Live in the state
Describe what a Filibuster is, why it is used, and how it can be stopped. It is the right to continue debate on a bill for as long as wish in the senate. While debate is going on the senate cannot vote on the bill. It may be used to stop a vote on a bill that at least one Senator does not want to pass.
Explain the meaning of "due process of law". You cannot lose your life, liberty, or property without having all the rules followed, regarding searching, arresting, trial etc. according to the law and Constitution.
If the president goes crazy, or is so sick that he/she cannot do his/her job, how can the president be removed from office(not impeachment)? If 2/3 of congress agree. or the V.P. and an majority of the pres. cabinet inform congress that the V.P. is taking over.
