Illegal Immigration

QuestionAnswer
What is the definition of Illegal Immigration? the migration of people across national borders in a way that violates the immigration laws of the destined country?
What are the four ways someone becomes an illegal immigrant? Undocumented/unauthorized entrants, gaining entrance through the use of fraudulent documents, violating duration of a visa, and violating terms of a visa.
What is the definition of Amnesty? An act that erases all previous legal remembrance.
What is deportation? the lawful expulsion of an undesired alien or other person from a state.
What is The New Sanctuary Movement? an interfaith network of congregations, organizations, and individuals, standing publicly in solidarity with families and communities resisting detention and deportation in order to stay together.
