New Jersey Plan the legislative branch would have one house and equal representation by each state.
Edmund Randolph proposed a plan for the large states.
William Paterson proposed a plan for the small states.
Great Compromise the legislative branch would have two houses, the house of representatives would be based on each state's population and the senate would have 2 representatives per state.
Three-Fifths Compromise part of the slave population was counted for state tax and representation.
Roger Sherman proposed a compromise for the two plans presented.
