William Penn Son of a wealthy military admiral who was part of the society of friends(quakers) who later gets a land charter from Charles II to Pennsylvania
New Netherland Capital of the dutch colony New Amsterdam. Later becomes new york after the duke of york takes it over.
New Amsterdam Dutch colony which was based on the fur trade. Eventually the colony accepts all types of people and they are taken over by England
