| What is the geographic definition of "location"? | Location is the point on the globe, like Downtown Manhattan or the Sahara. It can also be more distinct, like 17 degrees North and 49 degrees West. |
| What is the definition of "place" in geographical terms? | Place is more general than location. Place refers to the culture or practices that are found in a specific location. |
| What is the difference between absolute and relative location? | Absolute location is exact, like 38N, 79W or 411 Elm Street. Relative location is more general. E.g.; My house is to the left of the giant hedge fence. |
| What is the geographic definition of "human-natural interactions"? | This one is pretty much self-explanatory. Anything that humans or the environment do that affect the other in some way is a human-natural interaction. |
