What are the four characteristics of living things? | Organization. Growth. Response. Reproduction. |
What is growth? | Living things increase in size. Organisms made of one cell do not grow as large as multicellular organisms. Organisms must have energy to grow. |
What is asexual reproduction? | A single parent produces offspring. |
Why is a virus not alive? | A virus is not alive because it does not have all four characteristics like Organization, Growth, Response, and Reproduction |
What are some examples of organisms that share the four characteristics? | A Rhino, Rabbit, Sunflower, Strawberries, Blackberry bush, and a Cat. |
What is reproduction? | Living things reproduce which means they form other organisms like themselves. |
What is organization? | All living organisms are made up of cells. |
What is Binary Fission? | Material from one cell is divided to form two cells. |
What is Fungi? | Reproduce with spores. (Come from top of Mushrooms.) |
Which type of reproduction leads to greater diversity and why? | Sexual reproduction leads to greater diversity. |
What is responding to the environment? | Organisms respond to changes in the environment. |
