Spam | Irrelevant or inappropriate messages sent on the Internet to a large number of recipients. |

Blackhole List | A publicized list, usually commercial, of IP addresses known to be sources of spam. |
Spam Filter | Email filtering is the processing of email to organize it according to specified criteria. |
Personal Information Management (PIM) | A type of software application designed to help users organize random bits of information. |
Personal Digital Assistance (PDA) | A palmtop computer that functions as a personal organizer but also provides e-mail and Internet access. |
