Confederate government | Power is held in state government |
Limited government | Power of the government is limited |
Unlimited government | Power of the goverment is not limited |
Dictatorship | One person holds all the power by force |
Absolute monarchy | One person holds all the power-inherited |
Oligarchy | Rule by a small group |
Direct democracy | All people vote on all issues/laws |
Representative democracy | Citizens elect representatives to vote for them |
Presidential democracy | Exec. and Legis. branches are seperated |
Parliamentary democracy | Exec. is chosen from the legislature |
