What is a recovery plan? | A plan of what will be done in case of a disaster or needing to restore the backup

What is covered in a recovery plan? | Who will do what, how the backup will be restored, arrangements for alternative hardware, equipment, accommodation and staff if needed

What is a periodic backup? | A backup that happens at a set time

What are the 3 different types of periodic backup? | Full backup - backing up all files
Differential backup - backing up all files changed since the full backup
Incremental backup - backing up all files changed since last backup, either full or incremental

What is a remote or online backup? | Backup done to a remote server over the Internet

What is mirroring? | Storing a database on multiple servers so if one fails the others can still be used without data loss (sometimes called RAID system)

What type of backup is needed for large database systems and why? | Mirroring as they can't be taken offline for periodic backup and they can't afford to lose any data

Review the information in the table. When you are ready to quiz yourself you can hide individual columns or the entire table. Then you can click on the empty cells to reveal the answer. Try to recall what will be displayed before clicking the empty cell.
