Acetylsalicylic Acid - primary action and indication for use, generic name.   Asprin: For suspected cardiac chest pain;AMI.  
EpiPen - primary action and indication.   For severe symptomatic allergic reaction/anaphylaxis/bronchospasm. Adrenaline Injection  
Nitroglycerine (NTG)(Nitrostat)- primary action and indication:   dilates blood vessels, for use in myocardial infarction or angina.  
Oral Glucose - contraindications:   C: unconscious.  
Oral Glucose - primary action and indications:   provides glucose for cell use, Hypoglycemia.  
EpiPen Administration   Auto-injector, mid-proximal thigh.  
Albuterol - Bronchodilator Contradictions: and side effects:   Allergy, Acute myocardial infarction. Usually dose related, restlessness, dizziness, anxiety, tachycardia, hypertension.  
Albuterol - administration   Nebulizer (IH), personal inhaler.  
Acetylsalicylic Acid - Anti platelet contradictions and side effects:   Allergy, GI bleeding, active ulcer disease, hemorrhagic stroke, bleeding disorders. Stomach irritation, heartburn or indigestion, nausea or vomiting.  
Acetylsalicylic Acid - Trade Name   Aspirin.  
EpiPen - trade name:   EPi-Pen. adrenaline.  
EpiPen - side effects   headache,nausea,restlessness,weakness,anxiety, tachycardia and ,hypertension,*may increase myocardial o2 demand*  
Nitroglycerine (Nitrostat) (NTG) - side effects and contraindications:   hypersensitivity, pericardial tamponade, severe anemia, hypotension. burning uder tongue headache, tachycardia, nausea & vomiting, syncope.  
Nitroglycerine - class and trade name   Nitro  
Albuterol - class and trade name:   proventil, ventolin  
Acetylsalicylic Acid - administration:   orally (PO). Adult dose: 324 mg.  
Activated Charcoal - primary action and indications for use:   adsorbs toxic substances in the digestive tract. Most oral poisoning overdose.  
Activated Charcoal - side-effects and contraindications:   black stools. Decreased LOC; acids or base ingestion. GI obstruction.  
Activated Charcoal - administration   orally (PO) both adult and PED: 1g/kg.  
Oral Glucose - administration   oral (PO)(cheek/gum).  
Nitroglycerine - administration:   Sublingual - tablet 1 tablet every 5 minutes, max 3 tablets.
