| Reasons why? | Gave them easy access to move on, allowed them to hunt for food, they were Nomadic

| Describe their homes | Huts, made of branches/twigs etc. Sapling was set into the ground, these left the marks of post-holes. Centre of the house was a hearth/ fireplace and over this was placed the spit

| Hunter gatherer | Self-sufficient hunts and gathers their own food e.g nuts, berries, fish ,birds etc

| Nomadic | They moved on when the resources around them ran dry

| What was flint used for | Main resource, was used for staring fires, spears, arrows,harpoons etc

| How did they cook their food? | On a spit, this rotated over a heated fire and slowly cooked the meat
