WPA | The Works Progress Administration was the largest and most ambitious American New Deal agency, employing millions of unemployed people (mostly unskilled men) to carry out public works projects, including the construction of public buildings and roads

New Deal | enacted by FDR and Congress - created programs to provide jobs such as the CCC and WPA, fixed banking problems with the FDIC
