American Citizen's Rights - Due Process   The government must follow procedures established by law and guaranteed by the Constitution. They must treat all people by these principles.

American Citizen's Rights - Equal Protection   All people regardless of age, race religion, or beliefs are to be treated the same under the law. The 14th amendment require this of all states.

American Citizen's Rights - Basic Freedoms   These are freedoms covered under the 1st amendment. The freedoms are : freedom of speech, freedom of religion, freedom of the press, freedom of assembly, and the right to petition.

American Citizen's Rights - Limits on Rights   The government can make laws or rules to protect the health, safety, security, and moral standards of a community. Rights can be limited so that one person's rights do not interfere with another person's rights.
