Stockholder/Shareholder   The owner of stock (a piece of a corporation)

Corporation   A group legally organized to act and to have its own rights separate from those of its members; a company in which the owners hold shares of stock and the firm has a separate legal identity from its owners.

Monopoly   Dominance in or control of a market for certain goods or services by a single company or combination of companies

Free Enterprise   An economic system where few restrictions are placed on business activities and ownership and where governments generally have minimal ownership of enterprises in the market place.
