1.2 How did the climate change after the Ice Age ended affect the animals and American Indians of that environment?   The climate change after the Ice Age caused the Beringia to melt away, this caused most of the animals such as Mammoths to die off from disease and being over hunted. This forced American Indians to become hunter-gathers.
