How do you perceive white? white reflects the sunlight
How do you perceive black? black absorbs the sunlight
What is hue? refers to the color itself
What are the primary colors? red, blue, yellow
What are the secondary colors? violet, green, orange
What are the tertairy colors? intermediate(in between) colors
What is a saturated color? colors on the color wheel that involve black or white
What three groups make up the color wheel? primary, secondary, and tertaitry colors
What is a tint? a saturated color that is mixed with pure white color
What is a shade? a saturated color that is mixed with pure black color
What are the three colors that are considered to be warm colors? red, orange, and yellow
What are the thre colors that are considered to be cool colors? blue, green, and violet
What are the five neutral colors? black, grey, white, brown,and tan
What are the six types of color harmonies? monochromatic, analougus, complementary, traidic, split complemnetary, nuetral
What is a monochromatic color harmony? using tints and shades of only one color
What is an analougus color harmony? using three or more colors that are next to each other on the color wheel
What is a complementary color harmony? two colors that are across from one another
What is a traidic color harmony? three colors that within equal distance of one another
What is a split complementary scheme? using any color and the two colors located next to that colors complement
What is a neutral scheme? combination of colors using black, white, grey, brown, and tan
