What are complementary colors? Colors that are opposite each other in the color wheel.
What is the complementary color of orange? blue
What is the complementary color of yellow? purple
What is the complementary color of red? green
What two colors mixed together create orange? red and yellow
What two colors mixed together create purple? red and blue
What two colors mixed together create green? yellow and blue
What is a tint? any color plus white
What is a shade? any color plus black
When mixing colors, do you start with the light or dark color? light, then add the dark color a little at a time
