| How do you percieve white? | White light occurs when all wave lengths are reflected back to your eye |
| How do you percieve black? | Black light occurs when no light is reflected back to your eye |
| What is hue? | A color that comes from a reflected wavelength |
| What are the primary colors? | Red Yellow and Blue |
| What are the secondary colors? | Violet Green and Orange |
| What are the tertiary colors? | Red-Violet Blue-Violet Blue-Green Yellow-Green Yellow-Orange Red-Orange |
| What is a saturated color? | The colors on the color wheel (they don't use white or black in them) |
| What three groups make up the color wheel? | Primary, Secondary, and Tertiary |
| What is a tint? | Saturated color mixed with a pure white |
| What is a shade? | Saturated color that is mixed with black |
| What are three colors that are considered to be warm colors? | Red, Yellow, Orange |
| What are three colors that are considered to be cool colors? | Blue, Green, Violet |
| What are the five neutral colors? | Black, Grey, White, Brown, Tan |
| What are the six types of color harmonies? | Monochromatic, Analogous, Complementary, Triadic, Split Complementary, Neutral |
| What is a monochromatic color harmony? | Tints and shades of one color |
| What is an analougus color harmony? | 3 or more colors next to each other on the color wheel |
| What is a complementary color harmony? | 2 colors directly across from each other on the color wheel |
| What is a triadic color harmony? | Located within equal distance of each other on the color wheel |
| What is a split complementary scheme? | Any color and the 2 colors that complement |
| What is a neutral color scheme? | Any combo of black, grey, white, brown, tan |
