What does intensity mean? | The brightness and dullness of a color |
What are three components of the color wheel? | Intermediate, primary, secondary |
What are the primsry colors? | Red, Blue, Yellow |
What are the secondary colors? | Violet, Green, Orange |
What are the tertiary colors? | Red-Violet, Blue-Violet, Yellow-Green, Yellow-Orange, Red-Orange |
How do you make primary colors? | Red, Blue, and Yellow would create other color |
How do you make secondary colors? | Red-Blue= Violet, Blue-Yellow= Green,Yellow-Red= Orange |
How do you make intermediate or Tertiary Colors? | You mix equal parts of one primary and one secondary |
What does the word tint means? | A lighter value like white |
What does the word shade mean? | A darker value like black |
What does monochromatic Harmony/Scheme mean? | One hue with different tints and shades |
What does complimentary harmonny/scheme mean? | 2 colors that are directly across from each other on the color wheel |
What does analogous harmony/scheme mean? | 3 or more colors next to each other on the color wheel |
How many colors from the color wheel are represented in a monochromatic harmony scheme? | six colors |
How many colors from the colors wheel are represented in a complimentary harmony scheme? | six colors |
How many colors from the color wheel are represented in analagus harmony scheme? | six colors |
What colors are considered warm colors? | Orange, Red, Yellow |
What colors are considered cold colors? | Blue, Green, Violet |
