hue the name given to a color
color wheel show how colors are related to each other
intensity the brightness or dullness of a color
primary colors red,blue,and yellow
secondary color the three colors that are achieved from equal parts of two primary colors
intermediate colors Intermediate colors form when a primary color is mixed with a secondary color
tint a value lighter than that on a color wheel
shade a value darker than that on a color wheel
monochomatic one hue with different tints and shades
complimentary 2 colors that are directly across from from each other on the color wheel
analogous 3 or more colors next to each other on the color wheel
