How do you percieve white? Using Light
How do you percieve black? No Light (dark)
What is hue? Color
What are the primary colors? Red, Blue, and Yellow
What are the secondary colors? Violet, Green, and Orange
What are the tertiary colors? Red-violet, Blue-violet, Blue-green, Yellow-green, Yellow-orange, and Red-orange
What is a saturated color? A color with no white or black in it
What three groups make up the color wheel? Primary, Secondary, and Teritiary colors
What is a tint? A saturated color that is mixed with a pure white color
What is a shade? A saturated color that is mixed with a pure black color
What are three colors that are considered to be warm colors? Red, Orange, and Yellow
What are three colors that are considered to be cool colors? Green, Blue, and Violet
What are five neutral colors? Black, Grey, White, Brown, and Tan
What are the six types of color harmonies? Monochromatic, Analogous, Complementary, Triadic, Split Complementary, and Neutral
What is a monochromatic color harmony? Achieved by using tints and shades of only one color
What is an analogous color harmony? Using three or more colors that are next to each other on the color wheel
What is a complementary color harmony? Two colors that are directly across from each other on the color wheel
What is a triadic color harmony? Three colors that are located within equal distance of each other
What is a split complementary scheme? Created by using any color and the two colors located next to that colors complement
What is a neutral color scheme? Any combination of Blacks, Greys, Whites, Browns, and Tans
