what are the secondary colors? violet, green, orange
What are the teritary colors? red-orange, yellow-orange, yellow-green, blue-green, blue-violet, and red-violet
What is a saturated color? a color that has no white or black in them
What three groups make up the color wheel? primary, secondary, and teritary
What is a tint? a saturated color that is mixed with pure white color
What is a shade? a saturated color that is mixed with pure black color
What are three colors that are considered to be warm colors? red, orange, and yellow
What are three colors that are considered to be cool colors? blue, green, and violet
What are the five neutral colors? tan, balck, white, brown, and grey
What are the six types of color harmonies? Monochromatic, analogus, complementary, triadic, split complementary, and neutral
What is a monochromatic color harmony? achieved ny using tints and shades of only one color
What is an analougas color harmony? three or more colors that are next to each other on the color wheel
What is a complementary color harmony? two colors that are directy across from each other on the color wheel
What is a triadic color harmony? three colors that are located within equal distance of each other
What is a split complementary scheme? any color and the two colors located next to that colors complement
What is a neutral color scheme? any combinations of blacks, greys, whites, browns, and tans
