How do you make primary colors? | You can not achieve these colors by mixing any colors together |
How do you make secondary colors? | Mixing equal parts of two primary colors |
How do you make tertiary/intermediate colors? | By mixing a primary and a secondary color |
What does the word tint mean? | A value lighter than that on the color wheel |
What does the word shade mean? | A value darker than that on the color wheel |
What color is added to create a tint? | White |
What color is created to make a shade? | Black |
What does a Monochromatic Harmony/Scheme mean? | One hue with different tints and shades |
What does a Complimentary Harmony/Scheme mean? | Two colors that are directly across from each other on the color wheel |
