Insertion point Shows where text will appear when you begin typing
Landscape orientation Documents printed in this orientation are wider than they are tall
Portrait orientation Documents printed in this orientation are taller than they are wide
Print Preview a way of viewing a document on screen that enables you to see the document as it will appear when printed
Ribbon Contains commands for working with the document and is organized by tabs
Status bar Displays information about the current document and process
Toolbar A small bar that contains buttons for performing commands
View a feature that allows the user to view the current page of a document on screen in different ways - ex: Print layout, Full screen reading, Web layout, Draft
Word processing The use of computer software to enter and edit text
Word wrap If the text you are typing extends beyond the right margin, it automatically moves to the next line
Zoom Use this feature to magnify and reduce your document on the screen
