Color Terms

How do you percieve white? It's the lightest color
How do you percieve black? It's the darkest color
What is hue? It's a variety colors
what are the primary colors? red, yellow, blue
what are the secondary colors? colors mixed by the primary colors
what are the tertiary colors? a color mixed by a prime and secondary or two secondary colors
what is a saturated color? a extremely light color
what three groups make up the color wheel? red, blue, yellow
what is a tint? a little bit of one color
what is a shade how dark a color is
What are three colors that are considered to be warm colors? red, orange, yellow
What are three colors that are considered to be cool colors blue green and violet
What are the five neutral colors? black, grey, white, tan, brown
What are the six types of color harmonies? primary, secondary, complementary, warm analogous, cool analogous, monochromatic
What is a monochromatic color harmony? colors that are shade or tint variations of the same hue
What is an analougus color harmony? the colors are next to to each other on the color wheel
What is a complementary color harmony? the colors across from each other on a color wheel
What is a triadic color harmony? three hues equally positioned on a color wheel
What is a split complementary scheme? one hue and two others equally spaced from the first color
What is a neutral color scheme? they contain equal parts of each primary color and has very low saturations
