QuestionAnswer
AutoComplete Suggests text to insert quickly into your documents
AutoCorrect Automatically makes typographical adjustments and detects and adjusts typing errors
Content Control An interactive object that you use to customize a document with your information
Formatting marks Special characters that appear on your screen but do not print
Mini Toolbar Includes the most commonly used text and paragraph formatting commands
Office button A menu of commands related to managing and sharing documents.
Documents Electronic files you create using Word 2007
Ribbon Contains the names of the Word tabs which includes buttons for commands
Screen Tip A label that identifies the name of the button or feature, briefly describes its function, conveys any keyboard shortcut for the command, and includes a link to associate help topics, if any.
Status Bar Displays the page number of the current page, total number of pages and words in the document and the status of spelling and grammar checking. Includes the view buttons, zoom level button and zoom slider.
Template A formatted document that contains placeholder text, generic text that you replace with text specific to your needs.
Title Bar Displays the name of the document and the name of the program.
Toggle Button Turns formatting marks on and off
Word-Wrap As you type Word automatically moves the insertion point to the next line of the document when you reach the right margin
Zoom Slider Provides quick ways to enlarge and decrease the size of the document in the document window
