Maintence Tasks you perform to keep a computer in working order
fragmentation Files that are not stored in contiguous clusters, but rather divided into sub-parts and stored in different locations.
Ergonomic Keyboard A keyboard that allows for a more natural positioning of your arms and hands
Defragmentation A utility the reduces the amount of fragmentation by physically organizing the contents of the disk to store the pieces of each file contiguously
Cookie Small text files created by some web pages when you visit the site that may include information about your preferences for the web page; cookie files are stored on your computer
Corona Wires A wire used to generate a field of positive charges on the surface of the drum and the paper
Cable Management A technique or kit that gathers cables together and stores them so they are not a hazard
Recycle bin A holding area for files and folders before their final deletion from a storage device
Sectors Divisions on magnetic media for storing information
Seek time The time it takes for a read/write head to move to a specific data track
touchpad A pointing device you use instead of a mouse
Wireless keyboard A keyboard that uses radio or infrared frequencies to connect to a computer, rather than a cable
