5th amendment No person can be held for an answer for a capitol unless on a indictment of a grand jury. Nor should a person testify against themselves in court. No double jeopardy
6th amendment Right for a speedy trial,witnesses, be informed of their crime, and the right to have a lawyer.
7th amendment right to trial by jury
8th amendment No excessive bail or cruel punishment
9th amendment the other rights aside from those listed may exist, and just because they are not listed doesn't mean they can be violated.
10th amendment The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.
