Lines Include borders and rules. Delineate the spaces around elements on Web pages. Linework increases the readability of the design.
Shapes Make up enclosed contour in the design. Most Web pages are square or rectangular.You can use images to generate other shapes.
Texture Texture gives a design a feeling of surface.
Balance Symmetrical and Asymmetrical. Size and type
Unity The design tying in together, a theme.
Proportion Choosing the right size for elements in relation to other elements.
Dominance The feature that commands the most attention/ where the eye is drawn to. (emphasis)
