QuestionAnswer
Button a graphic icon that can be clicked to perform a specific task
Command controls that tell the computer to perform a particular task
Cursor a vertical bar that indicates where the text you key will appear on the screen. Also known as an insertion point
Dialog box a box opened by a menu commands that allows you to select options or specify information perform the command
Folder an item that helps the user organize files
Group an organized set of commands that relates to a specific activity
Placeholder preset text boxes
Presentation a PowerPoint file. A presentation can contain text, pictures, charts, links to other pages, and other objects
Quick Access Toolbar (QAT) a toolbar that allows users to quickly find commands
Ribbon a panel in Microsoft Office that organizes commands into tabs. The Ribbon changes depending on which applications and tools are activated
ScreenTip a description that appears when you point to a button
Scroll bar a bar at the right side or bottom of the screen that allows you to move up and down or left and right in a document or worksheet
Slide one page in a presentation
Status bar the bar at the bottom of the screen that displays information such as the current page or slide number and the total number of pages or slides in the document
