QuestionAnswer
attribution the requirement to acknowledge or credit the author of a work which is used or appears in another work.
copyright The Law of the United States that protects the works of authors, artists, composers, and others from being used without permission
fair use the conditions under which you can use material that is copyrighted by someone else without paying royalties
plagiarism When someone takes someone else’s words and using them as their own.
public domain Works that are not copyrighted are public domain and may be used without permission
infringement to break the copyright law.
tangible Something that is real or actual, not imaginary. Something you can usually touch.
