What is a database used for? Used to store information
How does UPS sort their packages? By sorting on conveyor belts, by weight, scan them and put smart labels on them and keep all information in a database
What is a hard drive? Used for storing and retrieving digital information, primarily computer data.
What is a CPU? Central Processing Unit: Carries out the instructions of a computer program, to perform the basic arithmetical, logical and input/output operations of the system.
What is a RAM? Random-Access Memory: Integrated circuits that allow stored data to be accessed in any order with a worst case performance of constant time.
What is a CD Drive? Uses laser light or electromagnetic waves near the light spectrum as a part of the process of reading or writing data to/from discs.
What does the graphics card do? Generates output images to a display.
What is the purpose of the Motherboard? Central printed circuit board and holds all the crucial components of a system.
