Bit Smallest unit of binary information
Byte Eight bits- can represent one alphabetic or numeric character of information.
Keyboard input device offers the input of alphabetic and numeric information
Mouse-pad allows good movement of the mouse
Scanner input device that is conected to the computer through a port connection, and allows the conversin of a printed page of text or graphics to a digital format
Audio can be input into the computer with the use of a microphone
Video can be input into the computer with the use f digital cameras, video cameras, or web cams
Digital video cameras can record video that can be input into the computer with specialized software and cables
Web Cam tiny camera that sits on the computer and feeds video directly into the computer.
Clicker a handheld device tha resembles a TV remote that allows students to respnd to questions posed by the instructor.
Computer Monitor most common output device called a screen or display
Resolution Defines the clarity of the image that is seen on the computer screen.
Pixel a single colored square on the screen when joined an image can be viewed.
Printer Outputs the data after it has been processed in a hard copy.
Storage devices allows storage o data for later use
