Bit smallest bit of binary information.
RAM Temporary memory that is designed to hold new data and is available only when the computer is turned on.
Byte 8 bits, the binary code for one character of data.
Input devices allow the input of data into a computer.
Mouse pad allows movement of the mouse
Digital video camera can record video that be be input in the computer with specialized software.
Output Devices produce the data after it has been processed in hard copy or soft copy.
A Classroom Response System a "clicker", is a handheld device that resembles a TV remote that allows students to respond to questions posed by the instructor.
Resolution defines the clarity of image that is seen on the computer screen.
Pixel is a single colored square on the screen.
CD-R allows the user to record data once for storage purposes, afterwards it can be recorded.
