| What is System Software? | This tells a computer what to do and is a part of every computer system. Examples would be the Windows operating system and the Mac OS. |

| What is a pixel? | This is a single colored square on the screen. When pixels are joined, the image can be viewed. |
| What is ROM? | Permanent internal memory inside the system which is inaccessible to the user and is used to store the instructions that are installed or programmed at the manufacturer. |
