backstage view "behind the scenes" tasks. Getting info about the file, creating files, printing the file, sharing files, and defining file properties.
contextual tab A tab that appears onnthe ribbon only when you select certain items in a file, and they contain commands related to that item.
gallery shows the options available for a command.
home page (start page) first page that opens when you start your browser
