Computer A machine that can be processed with data. The data can be letters, numbers, pictures, sounds, etc. Developed in the 1940s.
Personal Computer A personal computer= PC. Includes keyboard, mouse and monitor. Mac- Desktop.
Hardware All equiptment attched to the computer; CD drive,speakers,mouse,monitor,keyboard.
Software A set of instructions for the computer that has the ability to change or create data.
Monitor a display screen.
Mouse An imput device. It moves the cursor on the monitor.
Keyboard A set of keys or buttons that are used to imput information and instructions to a computer.
Hard Drive The primary storage unit.
CDROM Compact disc read only memory. Reads data.
