Verb, Adverb, Preposition, Conjunction, and Interjection

Verb a word used to express action or a state of being
Helping and Main verbs a helping verb helps the main verb express action ex: will express (will helping, express main)
Action Verbs expresses either physical or mental activity
Linking Verbs connects the subject to a word
Transitive Verbs expresses an action directed toward to a noun
Intransitive Verbs expresses action without the action passing to a reciever or object
Adverb word that modifies a verb, and adjective or another adverb
Adjective or Adverb examples Adjective + ly = Adverb bright + ly = brightly loud + ly + loudly
Preposition shows the relationship of a noun or pronoun
Commonly Used Prepostions aboard ; before ; during ; except ; for ; in ; like ; near ; off ; past ; since ; through ; under ; until ; without
Conjuction join words or groups of words
Coordinating Conjuction For And Nor But Or Yet So = FANBOYS
Correlative Conjunctions both...and either...or neither...nor whether...or not only...but also
Interjection used to express emotion ex: Oh! Wow! aha, well,
