OCCUPATIONAL ALIENATION Prolonged experiences of disconnectedness, isolation, emptiness, lack of a sense of identity, a limited or confined expression of spirit, or a sense of meaninglessness. Can be interanal i.e depressed person doesn’t want to participate
OCCUPATIONAL APARTHEID - different individuals, groups and communities can be deprived of meaningful and purposeful activity through segregation due to social, political, economical factors and for social status reasons.
OCCUPATIONAL DEPRIVATION A state of preclusion from engagement in occupations of necessity and/ or meaning due to factors that stand outside the immediate control of the individual
OCCUPATIONAL MARGINALIZATION limitation or deprived in making own choices
OCCUPATIONAL JUSTICE -Equitable opportunity and resources to enable people’s engagement in meaningful occupation
OCCUPATIONAL RIGHTS The right of all people to engage in meaningful occupations that contribute positively to their own well-being and the well-being of their communities
