| OCCUPATIONAL APARTHEID | - different individuals, groups and communities can be deprived of meaningful and purposeful activity through segregation due to social, political, economical factors and for social status reasons. |
| OCCUPATIONAL DEPRIVATION | A state of preclusion from engagement in occupations of necessity and/ or meaning due to factors that stand outside the immediate control of the individual |
| OCCUPATIONAL MARGINALIZATION | limitation or deprived in making own choices |
| OCCUPATIONAL JUSTICE | -Equitable opportunity and resources to enable people’s engagement in meaningful occupation |
| OCCUPATIONAL RIGHTS | The right of all people to engage in meaningful occupations that contribute positively to their own well-being and the well-being of their communities |
