Stakeholders

QuestionAnswer
Internal Stakeholders Inside the business eg.employees, owners/shareholders and managers
External stakeholders Outside the business eg. customers, suppliers, local community, government
Conflicts between stakeholders eg. Conflict between managers and workers over pay and conditions can lead to strike action
Stakeholders Anyone who has a stake or share in what the business does
Shareholders anyone who owns a share of a business.
Customers Want high quality products at low prices
Suppliers Who the business buys raw materials and other products from. They want to be paid on time and to have regular orders from the business.
Local community Want jobs and improved local facilities but don't want businesses to pollute the local area. Sometimes they want sponsorship for community activities e.g football teams
Government Receive taxes when the business makes a profit.
Employees Want job security and promotion prospects.
Creditors People or organisations that are owed money buy a business
