Parts of a Computer

Computer PartWhat the Part Does
Monitor Displays Computers information to the User
Mouse Inputer Device that lets the User choose something or allows the User to move around the Monitor's screen
Keyboard Input Device that allows the User to communicate via letters numbers and special characters with the Computer
CPU Computer Processor Unit - the brain of the Computer
RAM - Random Access Memory RAM is the area of the computer where information is being stored while the CPU is working on processes
CD Drive An Input device where information from other sources can be shared.
Floppy Drive An Input device where you can save information files to and from your computer
Modem A device that lets you dial out of your computer to the World Wide Web [WWW] or directly to another Modem
Software Set of instruction that tells the Computer to how do different things
Web Camera Digital Camera the lets you send digital video to others over the Web.
