What is internet accessibility? It is the process of making web media useable to all audience, some including the impaired or elderly.
What is the address bar? It contains the URL of the site you want to visit
What does a backlink do? It link your website with another website, increasing the chance of searches to find it.
What is ASP? A coding language that works with windows, it works in conjunction with HTML.
What is binary? It is a code using numbers, but only 0 and 1.
What is a beta? It is a live testing phase, used frequently in the gaming industry.
What is a cache? It is memory accessed when you visit a site, it speeds up your loading time.
What is code? It is the basis of the internet.
What is a domain? It is a person/organization's unique space on the internet. Basically the name of their website.
What is email? It is a way to send mail instantly trough the computer.
What does HTML stand for? Hypertext Markup Language.
What is an operating system? The type of software used to run your computer; i.e. OSX Lion, Windows 7.
What is spam? Junk mail sent out in bulk and to many internet users at a time.
What does timeout mean? It means that the process of connecting to a server is taking to long so the process is aborted.
What does URL stand for? Uniformed Resource Locator.
What does WWW stand for? World Wide Web
What is a blog? It is an online journal or diary. It is also a very popular marketing tool.
What are cookies? They are small pieces of information that certain websites store on your computer when you visit them.
What is freeware? It is software that is available for download at no cost.
What is shareware? It is software that you can use free of charge for a set period of time. Basically it is a free trial.
