How do you perceive white? When all the waveslengths are reflected back to your eye.
How do you perceive black? When no light is reflected to your eye.
What is hue? It refers to color it's self.
What are the primary colours? Three basic colors that are used to create all of the other colors.
What are the secondary colours? Three colors that are got from equal parts of primary colors.
What are the tatiary colours? Mixing of primary and secondary colors =tatiary colors.
What is a saturated colour? Colors that don't have white and black in them.
What three groups make up the color wheel? Red,blue and yellow.
What is a tint? A saturated color that is mixed with pure white color.
What is a shade? Is a saturated color that is mixed with pure black color.
What are the three colors that are considered to be warm colors? Red,Orange and Yellow.
What are the three colors that are considered to be cool colors? Blue,green and violet.
What are five neutral colors? Black,gray,white,brown and tan.
What are the six types of color harmonies? monochromatic,analogous,complementary,triadic,split complementary,neutral.
What is a monochromatic color harmony? They are achieved by using tints and shades of only one color.
What is analogous color harmony? Are done by using three or more colors that are next to each other on the color wheel.
What is a complementary color harmony? Two colors that are directly across from each other on the color wheel.
What is triadic color harmony? Colors that are located with in equal distance of each other.
What is a split complementary scheme? This is created by using any color and the two colors located next to the colors complement.
What is a neutral color scheme? Any combinations of blacks,greys,whites,browns and tans.
