Literature

QuestionAnswer
Novel A long, fictional literary work with characters and a sequence of events and conflicts.
Short Story A literary work with the same elements as a novel but shorter.
Exposition The beginning of a story.
Setting Time and place
Internal conflict Man vs. Himself; usually occurs when making a decision.
External conflict Man vs man, man vs. Nature, man vs society.
Climax The turning point in the action of the story
