Cell A cell is a specific location within a spreadsheet and is defined by the intersection of a row and column
Cell address destination identified by the column header and row header "A4, B3, C25."
Formula In computing, a formula is simply a calculation that is performed on one or more variables.
=Roundup(B3,2) Round the data in cell address B3 to the second decimal place.
=Average(C5, c25) finding the average in cells C5 and C25
=b2*b3 multiplying the number in B2 by the number in B3.
=c9-c10 subtracting the number from C9 from the number in C10.
=d4/d5 dividing the number in cell D4 by the number in cell D5.
=e1+e2 adding the number in the cell E1 to the number in cell E2.
Autosum where excel finds the sum of the numbers automatically
work sheet A worksheet is a single page or sheet in a spreadsheet program such as Excel.
work book A workbook is a spreadsheet file. each workbook in Excel contains three pages or worksheets.
sheet tab you can use different colored tabs to differentiate between sheets containing unrelated information.
formula bar The formula bar displays the data or formula stored in the active cell.
Web Host Server that stores websites and makes them accesable on the internet.
Annotation Explains what the website is about.
Search To locate specific information.
Keyword words or phrases that describe content.
search engine It searches websites on the world wide web: ex:Google. Alta Vista, Yahoo.
How do you determine if the author of a website is an expert? If the website has accurate information and the author is well known or it's website is well known on the web.
Why does it matter who (or what company/organization) provides the funding of a website? So that we would know who it is funded by or payed by like advertisement, family, companies etc....
How do you determine the accuracy or validity of a website? How accurate the information is on the website, and it doesn't have a bunch of toys and fake things on the website.
Where is the title of a website located? on the tab and the title bar.
Where is the author of a website located? on the bottom of the web page.
Where is the date of a website found? on the bottom of the home page.
