QuestionAnswer
Cell it is a specific location within a spreadsheet and is defined by the intersection of a row and column.
Cell Address The destination on a worksheet indicated by the column header and the row header. Example (a1,a5,f7,d8)
Formula for computing it is simply a calculation that is performed on one or more variables.
=Roundup(B3,2) round the data in cell address b3 to the second decimal place.
=Average(C5, c25) make an average in cell address c5 and cell address c25.
=b2*b3 it multiplies the numbers in cell address b2 and b3.
=c9-c10 it subtracts the numbers in cell address c9 and c10.
=d4/d5 it divides the numbers in cell address c4 and c5.
=e1+e2 it adds the numbers in cell address e1 and e2.
Auto sum it automatically sums up the numbers that you have highlighted.
work sheet or spreadsheet a table used to store various types of data. The data is arranged in rows and columns to make it easier to store, organize, and analyze the information.
workbook a spreadsheet file. By default, each workbook in Excel contains three pages or worksheets.
sheet tab it is a tab at the bottom of a workbook should say. (sheet 1,sheet 2, sheet 3) you can also customize it.
formula bar displays the data or formula stored in the active cell.
