| Hyperlink | A word, phrase, or image that you can click on to jump to a new document or a new section within the current document. |

| Webpage | Its what make up the World Wide Web. Also it is a individual HTML document. |
| website | A collection of Web pages. |
| HTML | Stands for "Hyper-Text Markup Language." This is the language that Web pages are written in. |
| HTTP | Stands for "HyperText Transfer Protocol." This is the protocol used to transfer data over the World Wide Web. |
| HTTPS | Stands for "HyperText Transport Protocol Secure." It is the same thing as HTTP, but uses a secure socket layer (SSL) for security purposes. |
| Serial Port | a type of connection on PCs that is used for peripherals such as mice, gaming controllers, modems, and older printers. |
| Parallel port | This interface is found on the back of older PCs and is used for connecting external devices such as printers or a scanners. |
| USB port | Stands for "Universal Serial Bus". It can be used to connect keyboards, mice, game controllers, printers, scanners, digital cameras, and removable media drives, just to name a few. |
